How velcro patches are made
Velcro backing turns a patch into something removable. The hook side is sewn to the back of the patch and the matching loop side is supplied separately, so you can attach a loop panel to a jacket, vest or bag once and then swap patches freely. It is the standard for tactical and work gear, where patches change with the role, the unit or the day.

Velcro Patches FAQ
Does my jacket need special velcro already on it?
No. We supply the matching loop piece, which can be sewn or stuck onto any garment. Once it is on, every velcro patch you own will attach to it.
Does velcro work on irregular shapes?
It works best on simple outlines. On a complex shape the velcro is cut to a square or rectangle behind the patch, which can peek out slightly at the edges.
