How pvc patches are made
PVC patches are moulded rather than stitched. Liquid PVC is poured into a custom mould in layers, one colour at a time, then cured into a single flexible piece of soft rubber. Because nothing is woven, PVC holds detail that thread simply cannot — thin lines, small text, sharp gradients and 2D or 3D raised levels. They are completely waterproof, do not fray, and clean up with a wipe, which is why outdoor brands, tactical units and sports teams keep choosing them.

Is there a mould cost?
A custom mould is made for every PVC design. On most orders we absorb it — your quote will always state clearly whether any mould charge applies, with no surprises later.
Can PVC patches be ironed on?
No. PVC is heat-sensitive, so it uses velcro, a sew-on channel, or an adhesive back instead. Velcro is by far the most popular.
How flexible are they?
Soft and bendable, like a rubber wristband. They flex with the fabric and will not crack when folded.
